Junior Achievement—Entrepreneurship for Real

Junior Achievement - Entrepreneurship for Real is an initiative previously supported by Axfoundation. Junior Achievement Sweden is a training organization that together with schools aims to introduce entrepreneurship and commitment to the business community in the education system. Axfoundation is co-author of the teaching material targeting high school students, "My Junior Achievement Company—Entrepreneurship for Real". On average, Junior Achievement Sweden reaches 20,000 high school students every year. Axfoundation contributed sustainability aspects concerning all parts involved in starting up and running a business.

“Whatever business you choose to work with, you can always choose to make it more or less sustainable from an environmental and social perspective. Sustainability issues are also important purely from a business-critical perspective, since those who are smart can save resources, reduce costs, increase the value of goods and services, make more money—and still pay a lower price through their sustainability efforts.” – Madeleine Linins Mörner, Axfoundation
