Human Nature 2014 – Things that grow

When Axfoundation organized the Human Nature (Swe: Människans Natur) seminar in 2014, the theme was Things that grow - within and outside the human body. The annual conference examines the human's inner and outer nature, and nature itself. The conference was held in Torekov in Sweden. As for all Human Nature seminars, we wanted to dissect a topic from different angles.

Speakers: Thomas Frostberg (journalist Sydsvenskan), Antje Jackelen (archbishop of Sweden), Steven Wise (President and Founder, Non-Human Rights Project), Gun Ragnarsson (farmer Kärragärde Gård), Suzanne Berdino (artist), Agneta Stark (lecturer in business administration), Andreas Stillborg (AirBnB), Matti Jokela (founder Toolpool and owner Malmö Järnhandel), Katarina Pelin (Head of communications, Båstad), David Orlic (election strategist, Swedish social democrats), Kim Jacobsson (CEO Ungdomar.se) Lasse Askov and Bo Lindegaard (I´m a Kombo), Timothy Crews (Director of Research and Ecologist, The Land Institute, Kansas), Ted Harris (Doctor of Divinity , author, pastor).

About Human Nature

The seminar series “Människans natur” (Human Nature) is an informal event during which we raise interesting aspects of the human’s inner and outer nature together with scientists, politicians, industry, local farmers and other old friends. The seminar is often broadcasted on Swedish public television. Human Nature was first held in 2010.
