Emilia Samuelsson

Emilia Samuelsson works as a Research Analyst at Axfoundation.

Emilia previously worked as an Energy Expert at the Air Pollution & Climate Secretariat (AirClim), where she was involved in advocacy for a renewable energy sector and monitored policy issues, regulations, and development opportunities at national and international levels. During this time, Emilia also worked at the European Environmental Bureau (EEB) in Brussels as a Policy Officer, where she was responsible for the organization's air quality-related campaigns.

Emilia also has experience from the Climate Target Unit at the Swedish Environmental Protection Agency and has worked as a junior investigator for the Swedish Climate Policy Council.

She studied a Master’s in Global Studies and has both a Bachelor’s in Environmental Politics and a Bachelor’s in Environmental Science from the University of Gothenburg.
