Johan Sidenmark
Johan is an experienced project manager within the program area of Future Materials, where he focuses on biobased materials, resource efficiency, and circular economy. Holding a master's degree in Biology with a specialization in limnology, as well as having studied business economics and political science, Johan has a broad skill set and a strong commitment to the field of sustainability.
With over 25 years of experience in environmental and sustainability work, both nationally and internationally, Johan has previously worked as an environmental manager and regional manager for a consultancy bureau specializing in environmental and sustainability issues. His expertise has been sought after as an advisor to the Ministry of the Environment and the Ministry for Foreign Affairs regarding Swedish environmental policy in Antarctica. Johan has served as an evaluator for research and innovation calls related to the circular economy for Vinnova and Formas. In addition, he has been actively involved in the nonprofit sector, having served as chairman and board member of CradleNet for several years.
Johan's particular interest in nature-based solutions is evident through his entrepreneurial endeavors. As the founder and driving force behind innovation companies in both Sweden and Africa, such as Biosorbe AB and One More Salary, Johan has actively contributed to the promotion of sustainable and innovative solutions.
