Stina Behrens

Stina has been working at Axfoundation since 2021, and in her role as a project manager in the Future Materials team, she leads projects and initiatives related to business development and innovation in the context of circular economy and sustainable consumption. She has initiated and is currently leading The Fiber Traceability Initiative.

Stina has extensive experience of sustainable service- and business development. She has previously been involved in developing Barkarby Science, an innovation arena and test bed for sustainable urban development connected to Barkarbystaden in Stockholm. Stina has also worked as a management consultant at one of Sweden's leading service design agencies, where she was responsible for developing the business offering for sustainable business development. In the same role, she has worked with a large number of organizations in both the private and public sector.

Stina holds a BA in behavioral science from Stockholm University and a BA in Arts and Design from Beckmans School of Design, where Stina focused her studies on service design and sustainability. Stina is also educated at Stockholm's Resilience Center, where she studied Balticlead, a leadership program in systems entrepreneurship and sustainable development.
