Matchmaker of Diversity and Boards – Cathy Winter

Cathy Winter manages the Maytree Foundation project DiverseCity OnBoard. This is a Canadian project that works to ensure that the boards of non-profit and public organizations represent the population they serve. Diversity is a key factor in getting well-functioning boards.

The project brings together qualified candidates with immigrant background and help organizations get in touch with suitable potential board members. To date, over 700 board members have been recruited with the help from DiverseCity OnBoard and more than 650 organizations participates.
