We_Change_Lärare

We_change_lärare (we_change_teachers) was founded in 2013 as a pilot project for teachers linked to the youth sustainability project We_change. Axfoundation and Ungdomar.se (a digital platform for youth) founded the project together with the aim of stimulating involvement and supporting teachers in their instruction of sustainable development by simply asking them what they need.

From January to March 2014, Ungdomar.se met with more than 700 teachers during a national tour. Along on the tour were youth center Fryshuset, WWF and the foundation Non-Violence. During the tour, both teachers and students were asked what teachers might have use for in implementing the teaching of sustainable development.

The project is owned by Ungdomar.se, which operates Sweden’s largest information site for young people, with about 100,000 visitors each week.
